Seven military court death sentences approved in Pakistan

Pakistan's Chief of Army Staff has approved seven death sentences handed down by the country's new military courts. Details of the cases appear here. According to this account, the convicted civilians will be hanged tomorrow, which is Independence Day. But they have a right to appeal. How's that again?
