Peacekeeper justice in the field

South Africa has troops on peacekeeping duty in the Democratic Republic of Congo. According to this article, a mobile military justice team has come on-scene to conduct trials in the DRC. Thirty-two SANDF soldiers are facing charges. The allegations are not sexual in nature. South Africa has used mobile military courts since 2001 in Burundi, Congo and South Sudan.

This kind of effort should be applauded and emulated by other troop contributing countries.
