The legal controversy over Pakistan's military courts has jumped the border into India, where a public interest litigation has been filed by activist
Rahul Sharma. According to
this account, the PIL asks the Delhi High Court to direct the Indian government to invoke the jurisdiction of an international court and to file a habeas corpus petition in Pakistan seeking the release of an Indian citizen who has been condemned to die on a charge of spying.
